Some important information about the restructuring of both the Kent Cricket and Kent Regional leagues.
All clubs that are members of the Kent Cricket League (KCL) and Kent Regional Cricket League (KRCL) have been contacted within the last week to ask for their views on a proposed restructuring.
This primarily aims to introduce greater regionalised competition across the county, thereby cutting down on travel time.
The Cricket Committee has agreed that we should seek members views as widely as possible before our response is required at a full meeting of KCL/KRCL clubs in early August.
All playing members (or any other members with a deep interest in the future competitive structure that DCC senior XIs will compete in) are invited to a meeting at Hesketh Park Pavilion on Thursday 12th July at 8.15pm (following seniors training).
The attached file contains the summary document which we are asked to consider and then respond to.
It would be helpful if all members could read this carefully and digest fully before coming to the meeting.
Many thanks,
