Welfare and Safeguarding update

In recent months the Junior Committee has undergone some changes as Surge and his team look to build upon the success of last season and to move further forward. The new structure requires us to be clear to members around the Club’s welfare and safeguarding activities.

Therefore the Club is pleased to confirm that Pat Lippiatt will continue to be the lead responsible across the whole of the Club’s membership and retains the title of Club Welfare Officer.

Pat will also remain the Membership Secretary for the senior section.  We continue to be very grateful for all the work and dedication that Pat provides in support of the Club.

The junior section will have its own individual Junior Welfare Officer. Mrs Deborah Parker has been appointed to that position and we welcome Deborah coming on board.

At the same time Ritchie Harley has been appointed as Membership Secretary to the junior section. Both Deborah and Ritchie will report directly to Surge who, in turn, will be responsible to ensure close liaison with Pat on all welfare-related matters arising within the junior section.

Best wishes to all.
Harry Bright
Chairman
